Perimenopause is a time of many changes which not only affect your fertility and your periods but also involves neurological and many other changes including metabolic and digestive changes because your hormones influence all of these.
It is a time where everything can become a little more sensitive and things that you might have gotten away with in your 20s and 30s like not eating well or not getting enough sleep can start to take their toll.
